Gudee is an Afghan restaurant serving quality home-style food in a luxurious, eclectic setting. Set up for fun 7 years ago by 2 sisters and their mum, they set out to showcase the relatively unknown cuisine of Afghanistan with a small kiosk. Word spread quickly and soon they set their sights on a Dubai opening.
The brief was to design a European-style bistro on a site of 300 m2. The key was to make the varied menu the focus, but also a versatile place to be for the mum and daughters. A lot of inspiration was taken from their favorite restaurants in London, Paris, and Milan.
